A lady in her 40’s who has physical conditions, which means that she is easily exhausted. You will be required to support her and her two children (girl and boy) aged 11 and 9 years old.
Duties will include; Assistance with the children’s breakfast; Preparing the children’s lunch boxes; Taking the children to school; as well as general housework such as changing the beds, laundry work and ironing. You may also need to accompany the employer to medical appointments.
Duties will include; collecting the children from school at 3.15pm; help with preparation of evening meal; Assisting with the children’s bath and bedtime routine; and making sure school uniforms and lunch boxes are ready for the next day. Monday will include getting the young boy ready for an outside activity and he may need taking.
Long periods of standing may be required as part of this job.
You must have an NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or have relevant, similar experience in this field.
You must be supportive and understanding; be willing to be flexible, and work from your own initiative.
You must also hold a full, clean driving license and have access to your own vehicle. A mileage allowance will be paid.
You must also be willing to have a DBS check completed.
You must be willing to cover holiday for when the other staff member is off on annual leave.
You must also be willing to be available on bank holidays and where applicable, weekends.
Post one: 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8am to 11am.
10.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. 3.15pm-5.15pm.
This position is to be worked all year round and not just term time.
