PUGs was formed in 2006 in Coventry. It originally consisted of some service users who were interested in becoming involved in developmental work and procedures within Penderels Trust.

We were very pleased to support the formation of this group and our Coventry Contract Manager, Sue Riley has helped facilitate the group along with Julia Edwards and Zohra Kapadia. The group meets 4 times each year.

As with all of our developmental work we are very keen for our service users to be involved and assist in leading the way for us to best meet the needs of people who wish to utilise our services. PUGs has provided a great opportunity to maximise this and we are thrilled to see how the group has grown. We now have members (and prospective members) from Coventry, Shropshire, North Lincolnshire, Lincolnshire, Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Gloucestershire, Flintshire and Wakefield.
