Penderels Trust asked its customers to complete a survey about their experiences both as a direct payment user and as a user of Penderels Trust services.
The aim of the survey was to find out how direct payments made a difference to people´s lives, to understand what the benefits of having a direct payment are and to determine any actual or perceived barriers to having a direct payment.
We received nearly 700 completed surveys. Thank you to the many of you who took the time to do this, it is much appreciated. We were extremely pleased at the very positive response we had from our customers about both their use of a direct payment and the support they receive from Penderels Trust in all of our areas.
As an organisation, we have always believed that direct payments are one of the best tools available in ensuring that people with disabilities and long term health conditions have in leading full, independent lives. It is really encouraging to know we are on the right path and that the work our staff do is making a difference to the lives of thousands of people across the country.
