The post is to carry-out the general cleaning, tidying & upkeep of my home so I can live as near an independent life as my health issues permit. I suffer complex tummy issues, resulting from unsuccessful bowel surgery and I have very limited mobility due to a fractured spine. I live in the Dormaston area of Worcester.
To provide personal care
To be able to identify any issues/risks that may affect me
To be proactive and communicate any ideas that could enhance my day to day living
To undertake any training I deem necessary or appropriate for the role
Carry out general domestic duties about the home, which I share with my small dog.
Prepare small meals/drinks.
Collect prescription items/confidential paperwork from local GP practice.
Support/accompany me on shopping trips, hospital appointments and places of interest that help get me out the home (including assisting me walking my dog). You will be required to assist with the loading/unloading of my wheelchair & mobility scooter in & out of my disability converted vehicle during the above activities.
Be present in the home while I perform tasks that I may require assistance with.
Someone who is friendly, patient and supportive. You should have a genuine interest in the provision of high quality care and should possess the motivation to develop trust and understanding within the role.
You should be hardworking, reliable, honest with a sense of humour and be committed to providing the best care.

Must hold a current driving licence.
An Enhanced Disclosure Criminal Records Bureau check will be required.
Actual hours are to be negotiated at interview stage.
The post will include 5.6 weeks paid annual leave (pro-rata).
