We are seeking a PA to become a companion and to build a friendship with her, allowing and encouraging her independence, time without me and to support her to access hobbies, interests, and social activities she enjoys in the community or within the house. She is extremely sociable and loves the interaction and company of others, she is physical fit and well and likes being outdoors, going for walks, going to café’s and particularly likes participating in physical sport darts, boules etc.: Lately however her Dementia has progressed and there may be requirement to complete activities within the home to allow me some time away from my caring role. She has a kind nature and great sense of humour, so will require someone who has good communication skills, is energetic and willing to partake in all activities with her. We are looking for a PA who is empathetic and patient, who will encourage her to be as independent as possible, prompting and supporting her to do as much as possible herself and in her own time.
