Hourly Rate of pay: £12.50 for 1 PA or £12.75 for 2 PAs
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours per week: 21 hours for 1 PA or 10.5 hours each for 2 PAs

• Monday, 7.30 to 9 am and 3.15 to 5.15 pm
• Tuesday, 7.30 to 9 am and 3.15 to 5.15 pm
• Wednesday, 7.30 to 9 am and 3.15 to 5.15 pm
• Thursday, 7.30 to 9 am and 3.15 to 5.15 pm
• Friday, 7.30 to 9 am and 3.15 to 5.15 pm
• Saturday, 8.30 to 10.00 am
• Sunday, 8.30 to 10.30 am

About the Employer

Lovely disabled young girl with Cerebral Palsy. She can't walk but sit/stand with assisted equipment. She needs to be hoisted into her wheelchair  for mobility. She has a lovely smile and is very much curious about her surroundings. She is Gastrostomy fed (Bolus feeding) and her medication needs administering through the same syringe. Drug administering, Gastrostomy feeding and hoisting experience is advantageous but not necessary as we can train them.

She needs an adult for her needs. We need a PA who can provide personal care in the morning and evening before and after school. 
Morning care involves preparing her for school like brushing her teeth, changing pad, applying creams, dressing and feeding
Evening care involves Showering, wearing pad, applying creams, dressing and feeding.

She likes watching rhymes on Tablet or kids stuff on TV. Also she likes to grab continuous attention, So if PA can do some activity like singing or playing something will be an advantage. She likes going out in her wheelchair, So PA  should be able to take her for a short walk occasionally if weather permits. Also have Wheelchair accessible car if necessary, they should be able to take for hospital appointments.

It is important that PA is a non-smoker and comes from a PET free home.

About the Role


Duties and Responsibilities
• Support and/or prompt with personal care. This may include toileting, showering/bathing, getting in and out of bed, getting dressed.
• Support and/or prompt the individual to take medication.
• Support and/or prompt to attend appointments as necessary, e.g. hospital/doctors.
• Assist and encourage socialisation, participating in activities.
• Promote and encourage friendships and independence.
• Develop a good and trusting one to one working relationship.

Only candidates aged 18 or over should apply for this position as you will be required to administer medication.


The individuals needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required.

You have a responsibility as an employee to report all accidents to the employer immediately. You have a duty to report defects and / or hazards which may give rise to an accident. You are to ensure the safety of the individual at all times.

Due to the nature of the work for which you are applying, this post is subject to a satisfactory DBS disclosure (costs will be covered).

Transport Requirement


Full driving licence is essential as the role requires you to drive the employer’s vehicle, for insurance purpose you must be

Required Training
Successful candidates are required to undertake any training that is considered necessary and appropriate to the role.

Moving and Handling. Training will be provided by the employer.
First Aid. Training will be provided by the employer.
Peg Feed. Training will be provided by the employer.
