It is inevitable that some people's mental health will suffer as a result of their experience of the coronavirus pandemic. This might be through anxiety of potential harm, the impacts of feeling more isolated or trauma caused from surviving or caring for people with Covid-19. Locally, there are three psychological therapy services, each providing free NHS talking therapies and support for people with anxiety, depression and other mild to moderate mental health difficulties. Should anyone working in a care home or other care setting, caring for people in the community or delivering support to vulnerable people feel that they, or someone they support would benefit from these services (known as IATPT), they are currently operating via telephone and video-link and are open to self-referrals by contacting them directly.
Insight Health Care (or call 0300 555 5582) – available throughout Nottinghamshire.
