Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Direct Payment Employer and Personal Assistant Survey

NHS Nottingham, Nottinghamshire Integrated Care Board, Nottinghamshire County Council and Nottingham City Council have created two surveys (co-produced with members of My Life Choices and Our Voice groups) to find out how things are for direct payment employers and their PAs, what is working and what isn't, and how you can be supported better.

Taking part in the survey and sharing your views is completely voluntary. Any answers to the questions will be collected anonymously. If you do not wish to answer some of the questions, then that is okay but the more information they have the better they can understand what is important to people.

There are two different surveys:

  1. For those people who employ personal assistants - https://forms.office.com/e/8xr2s8h6t3
  1. For personal assistants who are employed via a personal/integrated or health budget - https://forms.office.com/e/xeGkfcq73D

The surveys will be available online until the 30th April 2023. The survey may take up to 30 mins to complete and there isn’t a save/pause option available.

If you would prefer a paper copy of the survey or a telephone survey these can be requested by email or by calling their team and someone will talk through the survey with you and complete it on your behalf.

Once they have the results from the survey, the team will write a report highlighting the key findings and then they will co-produce a plan on how they can develop support for PA employers and personal assistants. Individual anonymised responses may also be shared in this report to highlight examples of what is important to people and what is working or not working.
