Our young boy with cerebral palsy although non verbal he can communicate well and let you know what he wants and likes. He loves people ,anytime he spends outside as well as tv. He is in a wheelchair and cannot weight bare so will need lifting etc We would like support at times from a PA to take care of him, keep him company, and play with him prepare food and feed him and , occasionally personal care will be needed .
The individual's needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required.
You have a responsibility as an employee to report all accidents to the employer immediately and to report defects or hazards which may give rise to an accident. You are to ensure the safety of the individual at all times.
Car driver and car owner – must have business insurance.
Successful candidates are required to undertake any training considered necessary and appropriate to the role.
