We are looking for a caring, reliable, and energetic individual to support a young man who enjoys being active and spending time outdoors. Due to limited road awareness, he requires supervision and support when out in the community, and particularly enjoys open spaces where he can walk safely and explore.
His interests include walking, visiting parks, using playground equipment, and attending soft play centres. The successful applicant will help him access and enjoy these activities while promoting his safety, confidence, and overall wellbeing.
This is a casual position, as support is not required every week throughout the year. It would suit someone who enjoys being outdoors, is patient and enthusiastic, and is committed to making a positive difference in a young person's life.

The individual's needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required.
You have a responsibility as an employee to report all accidents to the employer immediately and to report defects or hazards which may give rise to an accident. You are to ensure the safety of the individual at all times.
Due to the nature of the work, this post is subject to a satisfactory DBS disclosure. Costs will be covered.
Car driver preferred but not essential.
