PA required for 4 hours on Saturdays during term time and 7 hours per week in holidays (Time can be negotiated) to take on days out with my young son who is minimally speaking with ASD, ADHD, PICA, sensory processing disorder and Epilepsy. Young person is toilet trained. Young person is fun and energetic and enjoys days out to trampolining, sealife, beach, gymnastics, soft play, cinema, shops. PA will need to have experience working with children with complex needs including non verbal communication. PA should also have Basic first aid training and safeguarding training (can be provided if required) Ideally PA will hold driving license with access to own car and business insurance (business insurance can be claimed from employer)
The individual's needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required.
You have a responsibility as an employee to report all accidents to the employer immediately and to report defects or hazards which may give rise to an accident. You are to ensure the safety of the individual at all times.
Due to the nature of the work, this post is subject to a satisfactory DBS disclosure. Costs will be covered.
