Thursday 8am to 8:45am and 7:45pm to 8:30pm
Friday 8am to 8:45am and 7:45pm to 8:30pm
Saturday 10am to 10:45am and 7:45pm to 8:30pm
Sunday 10am to 10:45am and 7:45pm to 8:30pm

Dates and times are flexible and can be discussed at interview.

About the employer

I'm Isabel, a second year biochemistry student at the University of Oxford. My studies are very important to me, but I'm also very laid back and have a great sense of humour. I love looking after my plants, getting outdoors and doing anything active. I'm very positive and try to be as independent as possible as don't like my life to be focused around my disability. The daily hours of support needed are as stated however there will also be 4.5 hours available each week that are flexible, to help with shopping etc when a suitable day/time is established.

FND- leg and trunk/core weakness, limited use of left hand, full time wheelchair user, functional seizures (though these are well controlled), suprapubic catheter

  • The individual has allergies. Penicillin, Baclofen, Sumatriptan, Cefalexin (all anaphylactic).

Duties and responsibilities

  • Develop a good and trusting one-to-one working relationship.

The individual's needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required.

You have a responsibility as an employee to report all accidents to the employer immediately and to report defects or hazards which may give rise to an accident. You are to ensure the safety of the individual at all times.

Due to the nature of the work, this post is subject to a satisfactory DBS disclosure. Costs will be covered.

Required training

Successful candidates are required to undertake any training considered necessary and appropriate to the role.

  • Moving and Handling. Training will be provided by the employer.
