When you are required

Availability is required on the following days and times:

Monday approximately 8am-11am and 5pm-7pm
Wednesday approximately 8am-11am and 5pm-7pm
Friday Approximately 8am-12pm
Saturday Ideally one or two weekend mornings per month
Sunday Ideally one or two weekend mornings per month

Dates and times are flexible and can be discussed at interview.

About the employer

I am a disabled parent working part time and seeking a personal assistant to support me in my daily responsibilities. The ideal candidate should be comfortable being around my neurodivergent child, who may take time to speak around new people and may experience loud or intense meltdowns.

I am a wheelchair user due to an impairment which affects my lower limbs, hands and wrists.

About the role

Duties and responsibilities

  • Develop a good and trusting one-to-one working relationship.

The individual's needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required.

You have a responsibility as an employee to report all accidents to the employer immediately and to report defects or hazards which may give rise to an accident. You are to ensure the safety of the individual at all times.

Due to the nature of the work, this post is subject to a satisfactory DBS disclosure. Costs will be covered.

Transport requirement

Car driver preferred but not essential.
