About the employer

I am a single mum to a young girl with a severe learning disability and undiagnosed autism. I am looking for a kind, caring PA to provide respite support to give me a break from my caring role. This will include one overnight stay per month, preferably in the PA's own home, or this can be arranged at my house. Other support hours will be used to take my daughter out at weekends to enjoy outdoor activities locally.

About the role

Duties and responsibilities

  • Develop a good and trusting one-to-one working relationship.

The individual's needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required.

You have a responsibility as an employee to report all accidents to the employer immediately and to report defects or hazards which may give rise to an accident. You are to ensure the safety of the individual at all times.

Due to the nature of the work, this post is subject to a satisfactory DBS disclosure. Costs will be covered.

Transport requirement

Car driver and car owner – must have business insurance.
