Support is required for a teenage male with severe learning disabilities, autism, and ADHD. The role involves providing 2:1 support and assisting with all aspects of daily living, including:
Personal care Support with eating and drinking Washing and bathing Dressing and grooming Ensuring his safety and wellbeing He is non-verbal and requires full support throughout the day.
He is a very happy, affectionate young man who enjoys spending time with people who are patient, caring, and understanding. The ideal candidate will be reliable, compassionate, and able to provide consistent support while promoting his comfort and happiness.
The individual's needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required.
You have a responsibility as an employee to report all accidents to the employer immediately and to report defects or hazards which may give rise to an accident. You are to ensure the safety of the individual at all times.
Due to the nature of the work, this post is subject to a satisfactory DBS disclosure. Costs will be covered.
