About the employer

Young man with cognitive injury, looking for someone similarly young to take him to recreational activities such as the gym. Cortical blindness which fluctuates but can lead to blindness. Can see colours and shapes but with some difficulty, such as tripping. Finds it difficult to hold things due to Ataxia. Loves his dog and enjoys walking his dog but cannot do this alone.

About the role

Duties and responsibilities

Develop a good and trusting one-to-one working relationship.

Applicants must be aged 18 or over for this role.

You will be required to administer medication.

The individual's needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required.

You have a responsibility as an employee to report all accidents to the employer immediately and to report defects or hazards which may give rise to an accident. You are to ensure the safety of the individual at all times.

Transport requirement

Car driver and car owner – must have business insurance.
