About the Employer

I have Ullrich congenital muscular dystrophy and am severely physically disabled. I’m wheelchair-dependent and have limited use of my upper body. I live in an adapted property with my mum who’s my primary carer.

The Person They Are Looking For

I’m looking for a PA who’s accommodating, helpful, punctual, reliable and trustworthy. A DBS will be required.


The Times Required

I'd like a PA to assist me with personal care on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. I'd like the PA to work from 7am to 9am on Tuesday and 8am to 10am on Thursday and Friday. I'll need assistance with showering, dressing etc. in the morning.

I'd also like the PA to stay overnight on Wednesday from 7pm to 12 noon. I'll need assistance with undressing, toileting etc. in the evening. The sleep-in shift will include personal care on Thursday.

I'd also like the PA to take me out on Friday from 10am to 5pm. What I do/where I go will vary from week to week. I like meeting my friends, going shopping etc. The PA must be a confident driver. If I don't want to go out, the PA will be expected to complete household tasks and generally assist me.

There’ll also be opportunity to occasionally work additional weekday and/or weekend hours.
