I am a 60 year old lady living independently in the Coundon area of Coventry. I am registered blind and use hearing aids however my speech is clear and I am able to communicate well.
I currently work throughout the day but require support in evenings with tasks such as meal preparation and shopping.
I enjoy craft, especially making homemade cards and blankets which I often sell and I like to visit craft shops and fairs. I also enjoy visiting my local theatre for a variety of different performances and I regularly attend the gym and visit friends and family.
You will be required to support me with the following tasks:
The role requires you to develop and maintain a personal one to one close working relationship.
My/the needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required.
You may be required to undertake any training that is considered necessary and appropriate to your role.
I am looking for a friendly, reliable person who I am able to build a positive relationship with.
Experience of working with visually impaired or deafened people is advantageous but not essential.
Car owner and full driving license essential (business insurance required) you will be required to use your car to take me to appointments and out in the community.
Mileage is payable at £0.30 per mile
