I am both the employer and service user who has been allocated a direct payment to gain PA to provide support and companionship. I am seeking to employ a PA to support me with some personal care tasks, administering prescription creams for my psoriasis, domestic duties and cooking, as well as companionship and support to engage in my local community. I have severe anxiety issues due to my diagnosis of Complex Post Traumatic Disorder. I suffer panic attacks most days and trigger at any time. I suffer greatly with my mental health due to this and can have days where I feel I lack motivation and feelings of depression. The PA role will be to prompt and motivate me with general day to day tasks, provide companionship, reassurance and support and to assist with household duties, shopping and food preparation and cooking. I particularly enjoy going swimming, going for walks and having a coffee out and about and in time engaging in more social settings with others. I am seeking a PA to provide support to myself and to assist me in to improving daily duties routines and my mental wellbeing. I am looking for a personal assistant to support me with my day to day care Duties will include: • preparing meals • Assisting me with shopping • assisting me with the administering of prescribed creams /personal care support • to assist with light housework duties e.g. washing, ironing and some cleaning when required • social activities and assistance to engage in my local community • Assisting me when I attend the recovery college My/the needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required. You may be required to undertake any training that is considered necessary and appropriate to your role.
