About the Employer

My young daughter, Hannah , is autistic with a PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance) profile where she has a pervasive desire for autonomy. She is very able but struggles with demands to a greater or lesser degree on different days and can be anxious and sensitive. She attends a specialist school and loves the routine. She likes to keep busy and know what she will be doing in the evening and weekends, and in the school holidays especially. She requires support to access provision independently of me and to gain social experiences such as trips to the park and spending money in shops etc. She is creative, fun and athletic and her hobbies are roller-skating, swimming, watching TV, drawing, colouring and crafts, and is very interested in make-up and her clothes. She can struggle when she does not have one on one attention and be inflexible. As Hannah’s mother, I am the employer. Please do contact me for more information if you wish.
