About the Employer

Hi I am a young man in my early 20's. I am a polite, happy and laid back young man and I have a good sense of humour once I am comfortable around you. I have autism and a learning disability. I struggle with speech delay, social interaction and have some anxiety in unfamiliar environments. I live at home with my family but it isn’t cool to go out with my mum all the time so I am looking for a friendly, caring, supportive and empathetic person who is self-motivated to assist me to access the community, help me work towards gaining independence with life skills and eventually staying away from home overnight when I feel confident to do so. I am looking for somebody to help me do the things I love and to also be self-motivated to suggest new experiences for me to try. HOBBIES AND INTERESTS I love the cinema, theatre, days out, shopping, bowling, meeting my friends at organized meet ups and going to the gym and group activities. I also like using my computer and creating animations for my youtube channel. I play games on my phone and love listening to music on spotify. I am nervous of dogs. I do not require personal care but I need to be prompted to go to the toilet if on a day out and will need supervision due to my vulnerability if in gents toilets by male PA or disabled toilets with my radar key if female PA to ensure I lock the door and I am safe. I do need supervision around moving traffic on roads and car parks as I can get distracted. Support with shopping
