My daughter will require a PA who is trained at a minimum of Level 2 BSL to aid in communication when providing her care and support. I am seeking a PA to provide my daughter with 1-1 support to access social activities within the community, encourage and develop her socialisation and independence. My daughter loves the outdoors, She enjoys being active and has a passion for football. She likes swimming, trampoline parks, going to the beach, playing in parks climbing walls and general outdoor pursuits. She enjoys travelling by bus, the metro and car rides, so someone with access to their own vehicle would be desirable, however, this would not be a requirement for the role. Due to my daughters hearing impairment she will always require supervision. . My daughter is typical of all children her age and enjoys most activities that are physical and outdoors. The successful personal assistant will support my daughter in accessing activities and experiences in the local community. You will support him in developing her social skills and help build her confidence. The role is to befriend and offer companionship with a view to extending her support network My daughters needs may vary from day to day, and your tasks may reflect this.
