Hourly Rate of pay: Standard rate: £20.80 per hour, with all additional agreed hours paid. Overnight support (6:30pm-9:30am): £223.50 24-hour/live-in support: £389.90 per 24-hour period
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours per week: 24 hours per week. Additional and backup work may also be available across the wider PA team. Enhanced-rate overnight and 24-hour/live-in support is available when required. This may include extended cover in the UK as well as periods when the employer is

• Monday, 9.30am to 5.30pm
• Saturday, 9.30am to 5.30pm
• Sunday, 9.30am to 5.30pm
Dates and times are flexible and can be discussed at interview.

About the Employer

We are looking to meet new Personal Assistants/Companions as we continue to build a small, established team supporting a great guy in his own home in the North Cotswolds. This is a varied role combining companionship, mobility support, activities, cooking and responsibility for keeping the home clean, organised and running well. Regular Saturday-Monday work is available, alongside opportunities for additional cover and enhanced-rate overnight and live-in support when extended support is required, including during periods of overseas travel. This is not a conventional personal care role. No intimate or personal care is required. Personality, reliability, initiative and finding the right fit are particularly important to us.

About the Role


Duties and Responsibilities
• Support and/or prompt with cooking/meal preparation and eating meals/drinks.
• Support and/or prompt the individual to take medication.
• Assist with household chores and general homemaking.
• Support and/or prompt to attend appointments as necessary, e.g. hospital/doctors.
• Support with food shopping.
• Support the individual to look after/care for pets.
• Support to get to and from school/work/college/social activities.
• Support and/or prompt the individual to access sporting and leisure activities.
• Assist and encourage socialisation, participating in activities.
• Develop a good and trusting one to one working relationship.
• Support with managing paperwork & correspondence.
• Support with gardening.



The individuals needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required.

You have a responsibility as an employee to report all accidents to the employer immediately. You have a duty to report defects and / or hazards which may give rise to an accident. You are to ensure the safety of the individual at all times.

Due to the nature of the work for which you are applying, this post is subject to a satisfactory DBS disclosure (costs will be covered).

Full driving licence is essential as the role requires you to drive the employer’s vehicle, for insurance purpose you must be

We are looking for someone warm, sociable, exceptionally reliable and confident working independently. You should be physically active and capable of providing close mobility support, including shadow walking and appropriate weight-bearing assistance
