Services in Warwickshire

Penderels Trust is working in partnership with Warwickshire County Council to provide Personal Assistant Recruitment and Employment, managed account and payroll services for people who receive a direct payment in the area.

• Support when recruiting a personal assistant including dedicated recruitment line.
• Guidance on all aspects of being a good employer including legal obligations and responsibilities

Direct Payments Survey 2026 - Warwickshire County Council

Warwickshire County Council is inviting residents who use Direct Payments to support their social care needs, to take part in the Direct Payments Survey 2026. The survey is anonymous, takes around 10 minutes to complete, and gives residents the chance to share what is working well and where support could be improved. The survey closes on 22 March 2026. • Free Wellbeing Workshops – Open to Coventry & Warwickshire Residents
  Two fantastic opportunities from Arts Uplift, designed to support mental health and wellbeing through creativity. Learn more.
  1. Song Writing for Wellbeing - A 10-session in-person course led by musician Martin Riley at The Benn Partnership, Railway Terrace, Rugby CV21 3HR. Sessions run on Thursdays from 15th January 2026 to 19th March 2026 (7.15pm to 8.45pm)
  2. Creative Writing for Wellbeing - Four online workshops via Zoom on Wednesdays from 7pm to 8.30pm on 21 January, 25 February, 18 March and 15 April 2026. The course will explore where stories come from, story structure, character creation, meaning, form, plotting, redrafting and how to stay unblocked creatively.

• Coventry and Warwickshire Care Workers Networking Event
  We are attending a care workers' networking event taking place on Friday 27 February 2026, 11.30am to 3.00pm, at Methodist Central Hall, Warwick Row, Coventry The event is for care workers living or working in Coventry or Warwickshire and offers a chance to connect with other care workers and local organisations, with support on areas such as health and wellbeing, training and employment, legal/advice and immigration support, and more. There is no need to register, just drop in on the day.

• Carers Trust Heart of England - Spring Expo
  Carers Trust Heart of England is running a Spring Expo on Tuesday 3 March (2pm to 6pm) at Coventry Cathedral. The event brings together local organisations offering information and advice for carers, alongside interactive stalls and activities.
